Fantastic experience: This is a great gym that is staffed by some really kind and helpful trainers. There is a variety of equipment, and everything is kept in good condition. I've recently started attending classes in the last several months and I really like that they are accessible to all fitness levels.

Fantastic experience: Over the last 10 years on my annual trips back home I have visited somewhere between 10-15 Snap gyms all over Aotearoa. I would have to say the New Plymouth one ranks at the top.for.me in terms of size, equipment and layout. (The belt squat machine in particular is )

Fantastic experience: Possibly the best equipped gym in New Plymouth. Can cater to most training types I can think of: lifting platform, bumper plates, needle bearing barbells plus plenty of cardio and resistance machines. Always clean and tidy too.

Fantastic experience: Came here for a trial with my brother and the gym is amazing. Friendly and helpful staff, perfect facilities and equipment and a great all around experience and sessions. Unfortunately out of our price and commute range as students, but I highly recommend it if those aren't restrictions for you.

Positive experience: Gyms all round is good, environment, people and staff my only issue is how loud the music is. it personally gives me a head ache and even with my noise canceling head phones I can still hear it through them... and I know it's not head phones as I've tried a few amd have the same result it's only thing I'd change... it could be turned down a bit

Fantastic experience: Equipment is great, just a shame not much parking on site. Love that they have plenty of cleaning bottles and clothes so you can take one around the gym with you rather than going backwards and forwards to the cleaning station.

Fantastic experience: Snap fitness New Plymouth has to be the tidiest gym I’ve ever been in, equipment is 10/10 and the new extension looks incredible. Such a friendly environment and the staff are all really helpful and welcoming. Best gym hands down!!

Fantastic experience: Well set up gym with all new equipment and great air-con! Neil the owner was very accommodating with a short term pass for while I was just visiting. Would definitely use this gym again when back in New Plymouth

Fantastic experience: Well-maintained, clean, and spacious. As a visiting member, I was impressed of the whole facility and its sustainable practice.

Negative experience: Music loud at 3am last nights. We have apartment 70 metre away and bass is going through the walls. Not just us living here, we have lots of neighbors too. Please ban loud music after midnight.

Fantastic experience: Like most of the time, free parking and free wifi. Snap Fitness New Plymouth is one of the most modern studios I have been around NZ. Very clean and a lot of different gear, everything you for a great exercise. But the best thing, they have a new concept in place, keeping the studio clean and Covid free. It is also great for the environment, cos no paper towel anymore. Wish other Snap Fitness Studio could adapt these concept. Staff is very friendly and if you’re a first timer, they will explain everything what the studio have to offer. Highly recommended place

Fantastic experience: Seriously the best gym in New Plymouth. The space, the equipment is on a different level here and I know they are expanding too! It also has a nice feel to the place, people are super friendly so amazing for someone who is a little nervous or shy being in a gym as well as those who feel at home in a gym. We looked all over and the space and equipment is definitely number one!

A tonne of new gym gear which most gyms don't have.The vibe is awesome and is always support by a great team. 100% recommend checking this place out first before any other gym. Fantastic experience: I have tried 4 gyms in N.P in the past & have never been consistent with my memberships. At the start of my journey I needed somewhere that I felt comfortable where I had the help & push my mindset & body needed. Snap N.P has pretty much been my second home for the past 2 or so years & I love it! So much that I think I have ever only missed one or two full weeks. Whether casual or intense i've been there weekly. That says something in itself considering i'm a busy, working Mum that is also trying to smash a 3 year uni degree. After hitting a plateau within my journey of gaining confidence & losing 20 odd KGs, Neill and the crew have helped me find new ways of pushing myself that extra mile. The new equipment & gear is AWESOME & the staff are happy & passionate when it comes to demonstrating how to use it all. More importantly they are full of amazing knowledge! Not to mention the new classes that always have different, exciting exercises each week that I get some of my most successful workouts from! Nobody wants to repeat the same thing every week & who would of thought i'd be gutted to sleep in & miss Saturday morn boot camp. The FUN & friendly vibe has made my time & money worthwhile. A crew who asks their clients for feedback is a crew that has clients who stay put. I can't thank Neill enough for the support & care he put into my training when I began to start feeling a bit lost & I will continue to recommend Snap N.P to anyone who wants to make a positive difference in their lives. This place has allowed me to make training regurlarly a lifestyle & top priority rather than a phase as it always has been in the past for me. Thanks Neill, Donnie & the N.P Snappies! Fantastic experience: I visit New Plymouth from Auckland about 4-5 times a year staying between 1-2 weeks at a time. This can make going to a local gym expensive and not worth while. However Dane from Snap fitness New Plymouth tailored an arrangement to meet my needs at a very reasonable price. He was friendly, professional and above all had a willingness to help. The facility was excellent, clean and carried a positive vibe making my workout all the more enjoyable. I'm a sports Physiotherapist in training and naturally interact with many athletes and fitness enthusiasts daily. I will happily recommend Snap fitness to all those who travel to New Plymouth - Cheers.
