However, it could use more equipment to cater to a wider range of workouts. Additionally, 24-hour access would be a great improvement for those with busy schedules.

Fantastic experience: Habit health is an amazing gym, they offer many group fitness classes and have a great sauna, steam room, spa and pool area. It’s a great community and place to work out as well as relax.

Negative experience: I had an incredibly horrifying experience with Habit Health. Shortly after breaking my leg and undergoing surgery, I fell on my crutches. I discussed this with my physio at Habit Health and explained I felt I'd done further damage during this fall. Despite attending 18 appointments over four months, my concerns about pain, swelling, and lack of progress were repeatedly dismissed. Put in simple terms, the physiotherapist called me lazy, said that I wasn't trying hard enough, was not sticking to the rehab plan and that I had possible psychological problems. There was no hands-on treatment by the physiotherapist, nor did they look at my injury, the 'treatment' was mainly conversational and exercise based. Eventually, I sought a second opinion through a different company. I was quickly diagnosed as having a fully ruptured patellar tendon, due to falling on my crutches four months earlier. Repeatedly having my concerns dismissed across 18 appointments with Habit Health, and with no hands-on treatment, led to delayed surgery, prolonged rehabilitation and further complications. After complaining to Habit Health I was consistently told that the physiotherapist had undertaken their job correctly. The CEO of Habit Health denied all wrong doing and claimed that I was lying about my injury.  I then complained to the Physiotherapy Board Of New Zealand and after a review period, the Board agreed the physiotherapist from Habit Health Queenstown had 'fallen below requirements' and the physio was put before the Board for a legal competence review. This has had devastating physical, personal and financial consequences, I cannot stress enough to avoid this company and its staff! I feel as though I was used as a cash cow for them to extract money from ACC. Please don't let this happen to you – stick to small, locally-owned companies.

I joined on their $30 for 30 days deal, which basically meant I was working out daily for just $1 a day. Total steal, right? This place has everything you could possibly want in a gym and more. The usual weights? Check. Cardio machines? Of course. Spin rooms and studios for classes? Yep, got those too. But the cherry on top? A stunning 33-meter saltwater lap pool on the fifth floor! Add a spa, sauna, and steam room to the mix, and you’re living the dream. The staff are the friendliest bunch—you’re not just a member here; it honestly feels like family. Whether you’re smashing out a workout or unwinding by the pool, this place just has an awesome vibe. If you’re in Wellington and looking for a gym that’s got it all, give Habit Health Majestic a go. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: Habit is very versatile for a gym and health facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s small and professional. Habit has a variety of classes that are always welcoming with instructors who really enjoying leading. The pool and spa are awesome as well.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff, convenient towel service, and has a great sauna, steam room, and spa to relax in after a good work out or just a long day at work. Never seems to be too crowded so it's easy to get your work out in and use all the facilities. The patrons here are also generally quite friendly and respectful, which contribute to an overall safe and comfortable environment.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience with lead physio Heather who treated my sprained shoulder. She is super friendly, knowledgeable and helped me understand what was wrong and how to get better. Would definitely recommend!

Positive experience: I used to go here years ago and loved it. Rejoined after several years of living overseas and now feel like the place is in serious need of an upgrade. The equipment is old and doesn’t work very well. The lockers in the changing rooms are rusty and half are broken. The pool area usually smells musty and the shower in there is falling apart. The class selection is limited. A few upgrades would go a long way…

Negative experience: Cannot comment on their physio but they have no physio open on the weekend

Fantastic experience: Really good service , even able to email me receipts months later so I could claim insurance . Physio Nick was professional and was able to assist with a neck issue I was having of which my GP was unable to determine the issue .

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym and I miss it sorely. My PT workouts helped my neck pain more than my chiropractor did. Classes were great. Showers are the best. Sauna is amazing for muscle recovery and relaxing. I'll be back once my Jetts membership runs out

Negative experience: I wish they would keep appointments for telehealth for when they say they booked it.

Negative experience: Noticed heaps of good comments from stakeholders. To be objective, the gym is poorly equipped and usually overcrowded. The cardio room is like Alaska at night. Cold and dark, so uncomfortable. Staff is awesome instead :)

Positive experience: Good gym located in the Wellington CBD. Can have a good workout or a good swim. Took a star off as the lockers in the gym were mostly not lockable and the availability is way lower than the average amount of uses. The situation becomes worst as some lockers are now turn into 'private' lockers, which mean reserved for certain persons.

Positive experience: Physio here is reasonably priced but I took me a few sessions with junior physio who didn't know what he is doing before seeing a senior physio and got my problem solved.

Fantastic experience: Habit is a fantastic health club. In addition to trainers it also has in house physio's, massage therapists and a pool in addition to the gym space and the exercise class spaces. The staff are super friendly too. Our business signed up here and from the first visit we were made to feel welcome. Love the towels provided each visit. So much better than having to bring damp towels back to work/ home. The changing rooms are super clean and tidy and well appointed. The program that was set up for me was bang on: a fast effective core strength program suitable for my sports (golf and muay thai). Love coming here.

For the price of 2 burger meals (and/or some beers) the week you got a full and unlimited access to modern equipment, sauna and swimming pool in the full middle of the city, inside the tallest tower of Wellington. It's all about choices and priorities. Great place.

Positive experience: Is a good gym but I won't join for the following reasons: there is one water station and it is incredibly slow! It's took 1 min 15 seconds to fill 1.5 litre bottle. Doesn't sound like long by between classes I run out of time to fill my bottle. Also the sensor is broken so it keeps cutting out and not filling the bottle. Also only one toilet in the males bathroom. Also the lockers keep malfunctioning and not opening then the phone to call reception is in the main foyer! So have to walk out in a towel (all clothes locked in locker). Not ideal.
