Negative experience: ⭐ 1 Star – Disappointing Experience I had high hopes for AllFit Takapuna, but my experience was disappointing. After being offered a free personal training session, it was repeatedly rescheduled and ultimately canceled without explanation. When I raised concerns, I was dismissed and later accused of things I never did, rather than the gym taking accountability. What’s worse is that instead of resolving the issue, they terminated my membership altogether. This entire ordeal caused me a great deal of stress and impacted my mental health. If you’re looking for a gym that values its members and follows through on its promises, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Negative experience: Very disappointed with All Fit Taka. The gym is overcrowded, and many machines are broken or poorly maintained (& stay broken for weeks). For example, all spin bike screens were broken on my last visit, with one out of action for months. Leg press out of action for weeks last year. Cables regularly out of action When I asked to cancel my membership early due to these issues, they refused to waive the $250 fee, dismissing concerns by saying, "bike screens aren’t a requirement at the gym." I’ve since joined another gym that values its members and maintains its equipment properly. I wouldn’t recommend this gym. Look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: ALLFIT is a great gym for everyone that just wants to work out with weights or have a space to do floor workouts. Their studio is amazing and always clean. The studio gives you a little tag to enter the gym even during not staffed hours making it a 24/7 access gym. It provides a variety of different machines and space to lift weights in. The staff is always nice and the shower and changing facilities are kept very clean. Additionally ALLFIT provides hairdryers and straighteners in the changing room which I enjoyed. Every machine includes a little picture of which muscle group is targeted and usually also explains the motions shortly which is helpful to beginners. A very beginner friendly gym :) 10/10 recommendation

Negative experience: So it’s funny that I have to complain for management at the gym to fix things. First it was access to the sauna Then it was a leg press machine that stood in the gym for weeks without repair. Now the app doesn’t allow me to use the check-in function which again is an inconvenience to me and no check in staff is available. Please people get your act together! This review will not be removed!

I did a personal class with Davi and he did an amazing job pushing me to my limits - definitely recommend him also! The gym is equipped with top-notch equipment, and it's always spotless. Negative experience: 10% Gym 90% scam debit payment system!! I signed up for the gym in the hopes of improving my body and mind while the workout was fine after a couple of months I had to leave due to the companies preferred online debit payment system! I was informed by the manager via personal call that this was an ezidebit not and allfit problem. And to take the review down because their boss was upset. For the record they're not my boss they can cry a river I dont leave the house without an umbrella. Imagine blaming your payment provider for helping run a scummy payment system! So the way it works is they sign you up (sometimes at a reduced price) and don't notify you of the increase payment or drip price method used! Apparently I'm the first to complain about seeing one number on the email and portal screen but having to pay a 4% increase on any payments via debit. Any other payments I make at other stores actually have this included on screen! Most people shrug and go it is what it is in New Zealand so of course they won't see complaints over lack of repeat year subscriptions. On top of that when I went to leave and asked what they'd do about non payment they offered to escalate immediately instead of saying fairs fair as a customer paying for a service!! So not only is the debit system designed to increase the rate of dishonor fees via drip pricing, they have no qualms about bringing in debt collectors if you don't want to pay your cancelation fee! (Thank you Sarah!) Modern equipment, sociopathic online payment system. Caveat Emptor

Fantastic experience: Great gym in the heart of Takapuna. Easy to access with plenty of on street parking. The gym is very clean and tidy with lots of different workout spaces. It has a huge array of modern and well maintained equipment so you never feel like you are waiting to use a machine, there are so many options. Great atmosphere with friendly staff from the front desk to the personal trainers, with particular mention to PT Laura who has been amazing helping me with my training sessions. Shower and change facilities are spotlessly clean and even have hairdryers and straighteners which is a nice touch. This gym is an all round great facility that makes going to the gym just that much more enjoyable!

The facilities are top-notch with brand new Technogym equipment and the whole place is always clean and well-ventilated. One thing I appreciate is that they don't offer classes, which is great for me because I prefer a quiet gym environment. The price is well worth it for the quality of the facilities and equipment.
